Tate acquires work by Barbara Walker through Frieze Tate Fund

End of Affair II, 2025, is one of three exceptional works acquired by Tate at this year's Frieze London and Frieze Masters. The acquisition was facilitated by the annual Frieze Tate Fund, which provides £150,000 in philanthropic funding to help grow the national collection.
"We are delighted that the Frieze Tate Fund has continued this year," said Maria Balshaw, Director of Tate. "It has allowed us to bring these outstanding works into Tate’s collection. I know they will make fantastic additions to our galleries, and I look forward to being able to share them with the public in the years to come."
